Ever wonder how much of your carefully measured ingredients never make it into your cooking? I’m taking about measuring honey, oil, molasses, marmalade and other sticky ingredients. The recipe calls for (1) cup. You measure (1) cup. But, all that makes it into your masterpiece is (1) cup minus whatever is still stuck to the side of the measuring cup! Wasteful, and a major pain to clean!
Want a simple trick to get more of what you measure into your food and out of your dishwasher? Cooking spray! Simply spray the inside of your measuring cup or spoon with nonstick cooking spray before adding your ingredients, and they’ll slip out like a dream, leaving little or no residue behind!
